"...Niggas talkin' real reckless... stuntmen..."
I never comment on rap beefs because there's always a little more to them than what is revealed in the diss songs. But, Consequence is getting on my fucking last nerve with his bullshit. Seriously. The truth is nobody ever heard of him really. Sure, he's been in the game for a long time and is no slouch on the mic but the reality is homie ain't poppin at all.
If I were an off brand rapper trying to finally make something of myself I'd just be happy the winningest dude in the game right now signed me up for his team. But no. He wants to bitch and moan about somebody stealing his raps. Like he never "borrowed" a line or two in his time. He's not even in the game on his own merit. He came in as "Q-Tip's cousin". So, he shouldn't be mad at someone borrowing anything from him.
"...I adopted these niggas... Phillip Drummond and them... now I'm about to tuck they whole summer in..."
I wonder if Cons realizes that John Legend would have never collaborated with him on a song if it weren't for Kanye. Do you think he would be getting so much MTV coverage if it weren't for Kanye? I mean really, what the fuck is up with this dude?!
He's probably mad that Big Sean and Pusha T's projects are being pushed forward faster than his. Well, my man, the truth is you're not really that marketable. He needs to face the facts. He's got a face for radio. I think the industry people and his friends are just being nice and not really telling him what the deal is. This aint' the same game he got into 15 years ago. Rappers are getting younger, richer and prettier. And he's none of those. He hasn't even attached himself to a hot video chick that can make him look better. Surely there is a loose vixen running around the clubs looking for a mid-level come up.
In conclusion, I think Kanye is really a nice guy and would take a sitdown with Cons. If that were the case I think Cons could work his way back to the G.O.O.D. family dinner table. Of course he'd have to apologize to Pusha-T for talking silly. And maybe he can finally have the career he always wanted and deserved.
