Diddy tried his best to fit in while perform at the MTV Crashes Glasgow event a few days ago.
Diddy wore a kilt during his performance with his new group Dirty Diddy Money for MTV Crashes Glasgow on Wednesday at the city’s Old Fruitmarket.
"I want to show you the utmost respect and embrace your heritage and culture," he told the crowd of over 1,500, per the Daily Record. "You've got to be a real man to wear this."
"I'm not trying to mock you. This is serious to me," he said.
At one point the rapper was joined on stage by a piper and led the crowd in a version of "Flower of Scotland".
He was joined by other British artists including Skepta and Chipmunk.
After the show, Diddy couldn’t stop praising all things British. "I used to see U.K. artists try and be like U.S. ones so now to see them have self pride and to be able to collaborate with them is awesome," he told the Daily Star.
It was the rapper's first UK concert in more than five years.
